In this piece, I tried to capture the less-seen side of Touga--I believe that beneath his confident playboy exterior, there is a very lonely person.

For ~les-immortelle, who I suspect is much the same way, and who I love very much. Cherl has been kind to me, offered me advice, supported me when I've felt weak, cheered me up when I've felt down, and in a short amount of time has become one of my most trusted friends. :)

The picture took two and a half hours to sketch, one hour to ink, and approximately four and a half hours to colour. H and HB pencils, 0.05 mechanical inking pen, faber castel artists pen, PhotoImpact, and lots and lots of erasers. Even though it's not the longest I've spent on a piece, nor is it the most complicated, it's definitely one of those rare pieces that I suspect I'll be pleased with for quite some time.

This is fantastic, well worth the time and effort put into it. I love the way the hair and rose are screamingly highlighted by the lack of other colour in this piece. Brilliant. if you have a prints account I would advise making this a pring. :D

Hehe, it WOULD look cool as a print... And should you advertise yourself I'm sure it would be a popular piece; in fact I'd get it myself if I wasn't so strapped for cash :blush:

The drapery is awesome. I particularly like the contrast between the white body and the black sheets. I think a stronger contrast between light and shadow could really improve this piece, though.

Wow! Fantastic work. Touga looks great, sexy as always, but lonely sitting there. The pose and the minimal colors work well. Nice!
